Maintenance and Repair for 16 Apollo English Centres in Southern Vietnam

TECO MSC completed an English centre maintenance package for 16 Apollo English centres in Southern Vietnam within 30 days. Fourteen centres are in Ho Chi Minh City, including Apollo Go Vap, Le Van Viet, Phan Van Hon, To Hien Thanh, Doc Lap and Nha Be; the other two are Apollo Ba Ria and Apollo Rach Gia. All work was done outside class hours, so every centre kept teaching as normal.

Condition after the July 2026 audit

After its July 2026 audit, Apollo listed defects at each centre. The most common issues were:

  • Dusty signage and aluminium cladding, faded sign banners, failing cladding sealant, broken logo lights.
  • Dirty, scuffed classroom and corridor walls; damp, peeling paint on ramp walls and external walls.
  • Water ingress in top-floor walls and ceilings, storerooms and ground-floor wall bases.
  • Water-damaged timber wall panels; scratched or loose skirting and laminate panels; peeling wall decals and PP film.
  • Failed downlights, floodlights, exit signs and emergency lights; worn basin taps and floor drains; blocked restroom drains.

Approach: survey and approval per centre

TECO surveyed each centre and built a work list by centre code. Every item states whether it is repaired or replaced, with the material and product type. All 16 centres went into one approval package so the client signed off once, then the crews worked centre by centre. Scaffolding, protection and cleaning, and debris removal were priced into each centre to avoid variations.

Safety and keeping centres open

  • High-level signage and side walls: worked from scaffolding.
  • Work outside class hours; dusty and painting jobs finished before classes started.
  • Floor protection sheets, screened work areas, cleaning after every shift.
  • Debris removed the same day, never stored in the lobby.
